If you love fish but need a little inspiration and confidence, this unique class is for you! Even if you know how to clean your fish, you’ll benefit from learning the expert tips and tricks from our Fishmonger and you’ll learn to maximise the results of your filleting and de-boning.
Our expert fish filleter will teach you how to clean and fillet a variety of local fish then our cooking teacher will introduce you to a range of delicious dishes and show you how to prepare them. You’ll enjoy a generous tasting of the dishes we’ve just prepared, matched with local wines.
Your new skills will include:
- Scaling, gutting, filleting fish
- Methods for extending the life of your cut fish
- How to prepare a Calamari
- Using the delicious bits you usually discard
You’ll enjoy tastings of several recipes which our cooking teacher will prepare to show you how to turn your ‘catch’ into dinner.
Cost – $250.00 including class, presentation folder with recipes and lunch or dinner with wine tasting.
